The final of Copa America Centenario is a rematch of last
year's final which Chile won in their home soil. Argentina lost the final on
penalty shootout and they will be looking to clinch a major trophy in 23 years
at Metlife stadium on Sunday. In fact, Argentina won their first group match
against Chile 2 - 1. But La Roja has improved tremendously and has beaten 2
strong sides in Mexico and Columbia to reach the final.
Lionel Messi will be looking to silence his critics who have
blamed him whenever he has played in blue and white. He has looked brilliant
throughout the tournament and it is possibly his best opportunity to grab a
silverware with his country. The availability of Angel Di Maria is definitely a
boost for Argentina and on the other hand, Chile are not at all short of
firepower. With likes of Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal and Eduardo Vargas they
can definitely take away the cup from Argentina as they have done last year.
