Nigeria says no citizen killed in South Africa xenophobic attacks

Nigeria's Foreign Affairs Minister has refuted stories making rounds that Nigerians have been Killed in the ongoing xenophobic attacks in South Africa

Speaking with statehouse correspondents, Thursday, Aminu Wali disclosed that Nigeria's Head of Mission in Pretoria, had confirmed that no Nigeria has so far been affected.

He said Nigerians in South Africa had been advised to close their shops and keep out of trouble

Wali however assured that the Nigerian government was still watching the development and would move in to evacuate Nigerian nationals if the situation in South Africa got any worse
