Phil Jones says he sees Jose Mourinho's latest outburst as a show of passion rather than an indicator of general frustration at Manchester United.

United manager Mourinho was sent to the stands for a second time this season as his side were held to a 1-1 Premier League draw by West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday.The Portuguese kicked a water bottle after midfielder Paul Pogba was booked for diving.

The result leaves United with their lowest points return from 13 league games -- 20 -- since the 1989-90 campaign, while it was also their fourth straight home league draw, but Jones insists the frustration is not getting to the manager.

Paul Pogba has joked Manchester United's players will soon believe they are under a curse if they do not arrest their run of home draws.

United have been held by Stoke City, Burnley, Arsenal and West Ham in their least four top-flight matches at Old Trafford, contributing to the club's worst start to a Premier League season.

"We're going to start to think we're cursed," Pogba said. "It doesn't matter which team comes here, we dominate them, be it Arsenal or West Ham. I'm still confident because we create chances. It'll come. I'm confident in my team. We just have to pay attention to the small details."

Jurgen Klopp believes any team in the world would be affected by the loss of a player like Philippe Coutinho at a critical stage of the season but reiterated his belief that Liverpool's stellar start to 2016-17 has been down to their collective effort.

Klopp acknowledged it is not ideal for Liverpool - currently second in the league standings - to be without their star attacker for the upcoming stretch but noted that his side's brilliance has been built in unison, rather than through individuals.

"That’s no excuse for anything. Philippe, as good as he is, can’t decide games by himself, even if it looks sometimes like this because he takes the ball, little dribbling, good shot and it’s a goal, but then everyone has to defend," Klopp said.

chartered aircraft with 81 people on board, including a Brazilian first division soccer team heading to Colombia for a regional tournament final, has crashed on its way to Medellin's international airport.

Aviation authorities said there are reports of at least six survivors.

"It's a tragedy of huge proportions," Medellin Mayor Federico Gutierrez told Blu Radio on his way to the site in a mountainous area outside the city where aircraft crashed.

Aviation authorities said the British Aerospace 146 short-haul plane, operated by a Bolivian charter airline named Lamia, declared an emergency at 10 pm Monday (0300 GMT) due to an electrical failure.

Authorities and rescuers were immediately activated but an air force helicopter had to turn back because of low visibility.

They urged journalists to stay away from the hard-to-access zone and stay off the roads to facilitate the entry of ambulances and rescuers. The area has been hit by heavy rains in recent days.

An ambulance transporting a male passenger with oxygen and covered in a blanket arrived on a stretcher to a local hospital, Blu Radio reported. He was apparently alive.

The aircraft, which made a stop in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, was transporting the first division Chapecoense soccer team from southern Brazil.

The team was scheduled to play Wednesday in the first of a two-game Copa Sudamericana final against Atletico Nacional of Medellin.

The plane was carrying 72 passengers and nine crew members, aviation authorities said in a statement.

Local radio said the same aircraft transported Argentina's national squad for a match earlier this month in Brazil, and previously had transported Venezuela's national team.

A video published on the team's Facebook page showed the team readying for the flight earlier Monday in Sao Paulo's Guarulhos international airport.

The team, from the small city of Chapeco, was in the middle of a fairy tale season. It joined Brazil's first division in 2014 for the first time since the 1970s and made it last week to the Copa Sudamericana finals - the equivalent of the UEFA Europa League tournament - after defeating Argentina's San Lorenzo squad.

5-STAR FRANCE THROUGH TO THE SEMIS

France thumped Iceland 5-2 last night to set up a semi-final clash against Germany in Euro 2016.

The match was essentially over in the 1st half as the host nation became the 1st team in the history of the competition to score 4 in the first half . Olivier Giroud latched on to Matuidi's delicate ball over the Viking defence and smashed it for the first time to give France the lead. A few minutes later, Paul Pogba scored his first goal of the tournament; beating his marker to head home Antoine Griezmann's inswinger from a corner. Iceland were thoroughly outplayed in the first half and hardly had a chance to shoot. Two goals in two minutes just before the break underlined France's dominance. Dimitri Payet scored in the 42', when he shifted his ball to his left and beat the keeper with a low drive. Griezmann scored the 4th, chipping the ball over the onrushing keeper. 

Iceland fans had something to cheer about when Sigthorsson scored a tap-in early in the 2nd half. Giroud's 2nd of the game in the 58' squashed any hopes of a comeback. With the game in the bag, Didier Deschamps brought on a few substitutes for match practise. Iceland managed to score another one towards the end of the game, Bjarnason heading a cross from the left past Hugo Lloris.

The England FA is considering a number of former players to replace Roy Hodgson. Lately, reports have claimed that FA is in talks with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard. The midfielder who is currently playing in the MLS had revealed earlier that he might quit playing after 2016. He had talked about his desire to coach and has always claimed that he will return to Liverpool. Earlier this year, Gerrard said, "I am always going to be biased towards Liverpool and the FA and basically, when I am back home, I am going to carry on with my punditry work and try and move around clubs and gain more experience, going to watch managers and learning more."

After missing his penalty spot kick against Italy, Germany forward Thomas Muller made it clear that he need to work on his technique. "I will not be taking any penalties for the next two weeks. I will work on my technique at penalties for a bit and I will be back stronger in one or two months or so. I will take a step back and let others do the business for now," Muller said. However, he stressed that he will be available if a match goes to penalties again.  

Germany is set to face France in the semi-final of Euro 2016.

During a Question & Answer session with the Manchester City fans, coach Pep Guardiola ruled out a reunion with Lionel Messi. The event was organised on the sidelines of his unveiling ceremony. One of the supporters asked Pep, whether he has any plans to sign the Argentine. Guardiola said, "He is not a bad player, this guy! But I'm sorry Messi has to stay in Barcelona for the rest of his career." The Catalan further said that he is there to make City a better club and advised them not to dwell in the past. Germany striker Mario Gomez has been ruled out of the rest of Euro 2016 due to a torn hamstring he sustained during the quarter-final game against Italy. Midfielders Sami Khedira & Bastian Schweinsteiger could miss the semi-final game against France due to an adductor strain and ligament strain respectively. Coach Joachim Low believes that there is enough quality in the squad to replace injured players. "It is very disappointing when, at this crucial stage of the tournament, important players are ruled out. We accept the situation and have to find solutions. The quality of the squad is high, I have full confidence in all my players," said Low.

ARTETA JOINS PEP'S COACHING STAFF

Former Everton and Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta, who retired at the end of last season, has confirmed that he will be joining Pep Guardiola's coaching staff at Manchester City, 34-year-old Arteta had an injury-affected campaign last season, which is why he decided to hang up his boots. He confirmed the news via his social media account and said, "I can confirm that I will be leaving Arsenal and retiring from playing to take up a coaching position at Manchester City."

It is believed that Pep Guardiola highly values his compatriot's insight and reading of the game - a trait which saw him captain the Gunners on many occasions.

WENGER HINTS ENGLAND JOB

Arsene Wenger who is rumoured to succeed Roy Hodgson at the England coaching position claimed that he has no intention of leaving Arsenal. The Frenchman said that he has a contract until 2017 but said that he does not have a plan after that. However, he said that coaching England is an interesting challenge. "It's a good challenge [to manage England] for any coach. The players are young, they have quality players. They can only do better," Wenger said. But the Frenchman has confirmed that the England Football Association has not contacted him.

KRYCHOWIAK JOINS PSG

Grzegorz Krychowiak has confirmed that he has joined French Champions Paris Saint-Germain from Sevilla. The 26-year-old has signed a 5 year contract for an undisclosed fee. Krychowiak, who joined Sevilla in 2014 was an integral part of the Spanish side, especially during their Europa triumphs. The defensive midfielder said, “I’m very proud to return to France and to wear the jersey of such an ambitious club in Paris Saint-Germain. Arsenal has announced the signing of Japanese striker Takuma Asano from Sanfrecce Hiroshima. The Gunners did not disclose further information about the player's contract but confirmed the signing after the completion of his medical. Chelsea have completed the signing of Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi, making him new manager Antonio Conte's first signing. The deal that brings the 22-year-old from Marseille to Stamford Bridge on a 4-year-contract is worth £40 million. UNITED IN TALKS FOR MEXICAN STRIKER

Looks like Manchester United are nowhere near done with their transfers. They are in negotiations to sign Hirving Lozano from Mexican club Pachuca, according to the club's President. The 20-year-old scored 12 times last season and is highly rated by his coaches. Pachuca’s president Andres Fassi said, "Is there already a negotiation with Man Utd? Yes. There is still nothing finalised though."

Mourinho is certainly moving fast to acquire his targets as soon as possible before the season starts.
