Chelsea have completed the signing
of Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi, making him new manager Antonio Conte's
first signing. The deal that brings the 22-year-old from Marseille to Stamford
Bridge on a 4-year-contract is worth £40 million. Batshuayi enjoyed a
brilliant campaign in Ligue 1 last season, scoring 17 goals in 36 appearances.
He said upon his confirmation as a Chelsea player, "I am delighted to sign for one of the biggest clubs in Europe and
embark on the next chapter in my career."
