3 out of 4 Euro 2016 semifinal
places have been determined. Only 1 slot remains and hosts France will battle
minnows Iceland for that slot tonight. France, who showed character and
willingness to fight while overcoming Ireland in the pre-quarters, start as
big-time favourites against Iceland. The Vikings themselves shocked England and
have shown that they have the capacity to cause an upset. In fact, Iceland have
been one of the success stories of this tournament and are undefeated in 9 out
of their last 10 games. But Didier Deschamps' men will hope to end the
fairytale run. Samuel Umtiti and Yohan Cabaye are set to start for France after
Adil Rami and N'Golo Kante were suspended. Iceland are at full strength,
meanwhile.
