BATSHUAYI TO CHELSEA

Chelsea is on the verge of signing Michy Batshuayi, the Marseille striker, in a deal worth £33.2m. Crystal Palace reportedly had a 31.6 million bid accepted by Marseille for the Belgian though the player was reluctant to move to Selhurst Park. The Belgium striker is expected to be given special permission to leave the national squad to undertake a medical day before signing a 5-year contract. The 22-year-old will be new manager Antonio Conte's first acquistion. Batshuayi scored 17 goals in Ligue 1 last season.
