Paris St. Germain announced
that Laurent Blanc has left his position as manager. The Frenchman lead the
club for 3 years and won the league title in each of those seasons. Club
president Nasser Al-Khelaifi who had previously expressed his desire to win the
Champions League thanked the manager for his services to the club and for
"opening a new chapter in the development of the club".

Unai Emery has been linked
to PSG and in all probability will replace Blanc as the manager of PSG next
season.
