With Neymar signing a new contract, Barcelona now have 4 of
the highest paid football players in the world. Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta
and Luis Suarez are the other players along with the Brazilian. The combined
salaries of Messi and Neymar are more than the entire budget of 15 other Liga
clubs. Neymar is currently the highest paid footballer but it will probably
change once Cristiano or Messi signs a new contract. Barca President, Josep
Mario Bartomeu said that they will now renew the contracts of all their
players, who have 2 years left in their contract, only after conducting an
evaluation of their performances.
